Telehealth for Temecula residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Temecula, California
Temecula sits in the southwest corner of Riverside County, near the San Diego County line, which puts our Pasadena clinic at a considerable distance. Alpha Hormones® serves Temecula Valley patients primarily through telehealth so that evaluation and ongoing care do not hinge on a long drive. Adults here reach out about perimenopause and menopause, testosterone concerns, thyroid symptoms, weight, and longevity planning. Your care begins with a video consultation, and any in-person visit to Pasadena is scheduled only when it serves a clear purpose.
How Care Works From Temecula
Consistency is the main goal for patients who live at a distance. After your first telehealth visit, your provider orders labs and schedules a results discussion. Because the in-house laboratory is located only at our Pasadena clinic, Temecula patients usually ask the care team about completing tests nearer to home. Your provider will spell out which panels are needed and any timing instructions for them.
Ongoing visits continue by video with your Alpha Hormones® provider, often on a set rhythm so you can plan ahead. If an exam is recommended, you can make the trip to Pasadena, ideally combining it with any due blood work. Some Temecula patients like to time that visit for a Saturday morning, when the clinic is open from 9am to 1pm.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
It depends on your preference and your provider's recommendation. Most Temecula patients start with Alpha Hormones® by telehealth and find it works well for the initial consultation. A first visit in person can make sense if you want an exam and blood draw done at once, or if you simply prefer meeting face to face. If you are unsure, book a video consultation first; your provider will let you know whether an in-person visit would add value.
Yes, you can let the team know your preference when booking. California patients may see Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O., or one of our advanced practice providers: Julianne Humason, FNP-BC, Marcus Lee, FNP-C, Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC, or Kellie Klein, PA-C. Staying with one provider over time helps continuity, and Alpha Hormones® tries to keep Temecula patients with the same clinician for follow-ups whenever schedules allow.
A telehealth visit has to take place while you are physically in a state where your provider holds a license. Every Alpha Hormones® provider is licensed in California and Florida; for Texas, that is limited to Dr. Tek and Monikeo Williamson. If you expect to be elsewhere on the date of a visit, let the team know in advance so the appointment can be set with an appropriately licensed provider or moved to a time when you are back home in Temecula.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
Yes. Alpha Hormones® follows HIPAA requirements for protecting health information, and video visits take place over a secure connection. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by regular email; our team can tell you the right way to share records.
