Explore Advanced Diagnostics With Your Provider

Advanced diagnostics should help answer a clear question about your health. Explore cardiac CTA with Cleerly and whole-body MRI. Then discuss whether either study fits your history, concerns, and goals.

Questions to Ask Before Imaging

Start by asking what your provider hopes to learn and how the result could change your care. Also discuss the study’s limits, possible risks, and alternatives. The goal is to understand the reason for a test before deciding whether to proceed.

Plan for Results and Follow-Up

Before scheduling, ask who will review the report with you and how you will receive it. Discuss what happens if a finding needs another visit or test. Bring prior reports when available so your care team has the context for your questions.

For practical planning, review pricing and insurance information and ask about the specific study’s cost. You can book a consultation to discuss the next step with Alpha Hormones.

Common Questions

Advanced Diagnostics FAQs

Who should consider advanced imaging?

Imaging makes sense when it can answer a clear question about your health, such as cardiovascular risk based on your history and labs. Your provider will discuss whether a study fits your situation and what alternatives exist.

What is the difference between cardiac CTA with Cleerly and whole-body MRI?

Cardiac CTA uses CT and contrast dye to image the heart arteries, and Cleerly software analyzes plaque. Whole-body MRI uses magnets and no radiation to image many organs at once. They answer different questions.

Are there risks or downsides?

Cardiac CTA involves radiation and contrast dye, which is not right for everyone. Whole-body MRI can find incidental findings that lead to more tests and worry, and it does not replace recommended cancer screenings.

Where are these studies performed?

These studies are performed at outside imaging centers. After a consultation, if imaging is appropriate, your Alpha Hormones® provider places the order and refers you to a qualified imaging facility.

Does insurance cover these studies?

Coverage depends on your plan and the medical reason for the study. Cardiac CTA may be covered when medically indicated, while screening whole-body MRI is usually self-pay. Ask the imaging center about the cost before scheduling.

Who reviews my results?

A radiologist at the imaging center interprets the images, and your Alpha Hormones® provider reviews the report with you, explains the findings and plans any follow-up.
