Telehealth for Newport Beach residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Newport Beach, California
Many Newport Beach patients come to Alpha Hormones® with a planning mindset: they feel reasonably well and want a physician-led look at hormones, metabolic markers and long-term health. Others have specific concerns, such as menopause symptoms, declining energy or weight that has become harder to manage. Care for residents of Newport Beach, Corona del Mar and Newport Coast usually opens with a telehealth consultation, with in-person visits at our Pasadena clinic arranged when an exam or in-house lab draw makes sense.
How Care Works From Newport Beach
Your first video appointment establishes a baseline. The provider asks about family history, sleep, activity, nutrition and any symptoms, then recommends lab work aligned with your goals. Longevity medicine conversations tend to look at trends over time, so expect a results visit that explains each marker and how it may be monitored going forward, rather than a one-time snapshot.
Some Newport Beach patients choose to make the drive to Pasadena for the first visit so the exam and blood draw happen together in our in-house laboratory. Others never need to come in unless their provider recommends it. Follow-ups are typically held by telehealth with your Alpha Hormones® provider, with the frequency set by your plan and how your labs change.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
Longevity medicine is a separate service focused on understanding your current health markers and risk factors and building an individualized plan to monitor them. It typically includes a detailed history, targeted labs and regular review. It is not a promise of particular results, and it does not replace your primary care physician. Newport Beach patients can complete most of this work by telehealth and visit the Pasadena clinic when a provider recommends it.
Absolutely. Sexual wellness is its own service at Alpha Hormones®, and telehealth offers a private setting to talk about changes in desire, function or comfort. Your provider will ask about related factors such as hormones, medications and overall health, and may order labs. Options are discussed based on your evaluation. If an exam would help clarify the picture, your provider can arrange an in-person visit at our Pasadena office.
Some Newport Beach patients use PPO benefits, while others prefer self-pay or an Alpha Membership. The Alpha Hormones® team can explain what each option includes and help you check insurance benefits before you book. Benefits vary by plan, and verification does not guarantee coverage. Choosing a payment approach early makes it easier to plan follow-up visits and lab work without uncertainty about how each step will be billed.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
Our services include women’s BHRT, men’s TRT, medical weight management, HGH and peptide therapy, general peptide therapy, thyroid care, sexual wellness and longevity medicine. Each is evaluated on its own, and your provider will recommend only what fits your history, labs and goals.
