Fort Worth patients, whether in Arlington, Keller, Southlake or near downtown, can work with Alpha Hormones® without leaving Tarrant County. Our care here is fully virtual and provided only by Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O. and Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC, our two Texas-licensed providers. We help adults sort through hormone changes with BHRT or a testosterone evaluation, and we also offer thyroid care, longevity medicine, HGH and peptide therapy, and medical weight management. Everything begins with a video consultation.
How Care Works From Fort Worth
Visits, Labs and Licensure on the West Side of the Metroplex
Each Alpha Hormones® appointment is a secure video visit with Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O. or Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC. Our other three providers are licensed in California and Florida but not Texas, so they cannot treat you while you are here. Your provider reviews your history, orders labs if needed, and explains options, with prescribing decisions based on your evaluation and Texas regulations.
Our team coordinates lab draws at a local site in the Fort Worth area, so you will not need to travel for testing. Follow-up visits are scheduled by video once results are back and as your plan progresses. If your work or family takes you out of Texas regularly, mention it early so we can plan visits for days you are in a state where your provider is licensed.

Can I have a visit while I am traveling outside Texas?
It depends on where you are. Licensure is tied to your physical location at the time of the visit. Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O. and Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC are licensed in Texas, California and Florida, so a visit while you are in one of those states can usually proceed. In other states it cannot, and our team will help you reschedule for when you are back in Fort Worth.
Should I travel to the Pasadena clinic for my first appointment?
No. Care for Texas patients is designed to be telehealth only, from the first consultation through ongoing follow-ups. Your Texas-licensed provider can evaluate you by video, and lab work is drawn at a site near Fort Worth that our team coordinates. The Alpha Hormones® clinic and in-house lab in Pasadena mainly serve Southern California patients, and making the trip is not a routine part of care for Texans.
What is the best way to reach the team between visits?
Call our clinic team at (213) 334-4111. They are based in Pasadena and keep Pacific hours, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, which runs two hours behind Fort Worth. They can help with scheduling, lab orders and benefits questions, and they route clinical questions to your provider. For an emergency, call 911 rather than waiting for a telehealth reply.
What if I need an in-person examination?
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
How are prescriptions handled?
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
Is my health information kept private?
Yes. Alpha Hormones® follows HIPAA requirements for protecting health information, and video visits take place over a secure connection. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by regular email; our team can tell you the right way to share records.
Which services does Alpha Hormones® offer?
Our services include women’s BHRT, men’s TRT, medical weight management, HGH and peptide therapy, general peptide therapy, thyroid care, sexual wellness and longevity medicine. Each is evaluated on its own, and your provider will recommend only what fits your history, labs and goals.
Is there an Alpha Hormones® office in Texas?
No. Alpha Hormones® does not have a physical location in Texas. Care for Texas patients takes place by video with Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O., or Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC, the two members of our team licensed in Texas. Lab work is drawn at a local site, and if your provider recommends a hands-on exam, they will discuss seeing a clinician near you.
