Telehealth for Tampa residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Tampa, Florida
Good hormone care depends on good data, and that is where Alpha Hormones® starts with patients in Tampa. Whether you live in South Tampa, Westchase, Brandon or Temple Terrace, your care runs through telehealth with a Florida-licensed provider. We see adults considering BHRT for perimenopause, men who want a proper testosterone evaluation, and people looking at thyroid care, sexual wellness or longevity medicine. Your first video visit sets the questions, and lab work drawn locally helps answer them.
How Care Works From Tampa
The Alpha Hormones® in-house lab is at our Pasadena clinic, so Tampa patients have blood drawn at a local site instead. Our team sends the order and coordinates the draw, and results route back to your provider for review. Depending on your concern, that first panel may look at sex hormones, thyroid function or metabolic markers, as your provider determines after your initial video visit.
Each visit is by video with a Florida-licensed provider. Every member of our team holds that license: Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O., our medical director, plus Kellie Klein, PA-C, Marcus Lee, FNP-C, Julianne Humason, FNP-BC, and Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC. Follow-ups pair new lab results with a conversation about how you are feeling, and any change in your plan is based on both. There is no need to travel west for appointments.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
It depends on the service and on how your body responds. Someone starting BHRT or a testosterone evaluation generally needs a baseline panel, and repeat labs are scheduled at points your provider chooses to check levels and safety. Thyroid care and medical weight management follow their own rhythms. In every case, our team coordinates the orders with a draw site in the Tampa area so you are not tracking paperwork alone.
Yes, it is worth doing. Alpha Hormones® works with many PPO plans, though benefits vary and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Ask our team how lab work is handled for your plan as well. If insurance is not a fit, self-pay and Alpha Membership options are available, and our team can explain the differences when you call (213) 334-4111.
A peptide therapy consultation begins with a video visit to review your goals, health history and current medications. Your provider explains which options may fit, what monitoring is involved, and what the evidence does and does not show. Some peptides are compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will discuss that openly. Whether anything is prescribed depends on your evaluation and Florida rules.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
Yes. Alpha Hormones® follows HIPAA requirements for protecting health information, and video visits take place over a secure connection. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by regular email; our team can tell you the right way to share records.
