Telehealth for Fresno residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Fresno, California
In the heart of the Central Valley, Fresno patients reach Alpha Hormones® by telehealth, as do neighbors in Clovis, Madera, Sanger and Selma. A first appointment is a video conversation with a California-licensed provider about what you are experiencing, your medical background and what you hope to understand. From there, your provider orders lab work at a nearby draw site. Areas of care include menopause and perimenopause, testosterone, thyroid function, HGH and peptide therapy, and longevity medicine, each assessed on its own.
How Care Works From Fresno
Step one is the video consultation. Step two is bloodwork at a Fresno County draw site, since the Alpha Hormones® in-house laboratory serves only patients seen at the Pasadena clinic. Step three is a results visit, again by video, where your provider explains your labs and discusses whether a treatment plan is appropriate for you.
From then on, follow-ups are scheduled at intervals your provider recommends, with repeat labs ordered when they help answer a clinical question. Patients in the Central Valley may visit our Pasadena clinic in person if they choose, but care is built to work without that trip. Your provider can tell you if anything in your situation calls for an in-person exam.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
Much of hormone and metabolic care, including history, symptom review, lab interpretation and follow-up, can be handled by video. A physical exam is sometimes appropriate, depending on your symptoms, history or test results. If your provider recommends one, they will explain why and discuss whether a local clinician or a visit to our Pasadena clinic makes more sense for you. Fresno patients decide which route they prefer.
Continuity matters, and we try to keep you with the provider who knows your history. Every Alpha Hormones® provider is licensed in California, which gives Fresno patients flexibility when scheduling. If your preferred provider is unavailable for a particular appointment, or you would like to change providers, our clinic team can help you choose another member of the team who fits your needs.
HGH and peptide therapy start with the same careful process as other services: a video consultation, a review of your health history and goals, and lab testing at a local draw site. Your provider then discusses whether any option is appropriate and what monitoring would involve. Not every patient is a candidate, and compounded peptide products are not FDA-approved. Your provider will explain the details before any decision.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
