Telehealth for St. Petersburg residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · St. Petersburg, Florida
Hormone and metabolic care is rarely a single visit. For patients in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo and the rest of Pinellas County, Alpha Hormones® offers a steady telehealth relationship with a Florida-licensed provider who follows your progress over time. People come to us for menopause-focused BHRT, testosterone evaluation, thyroid care, HGH and peptide therapy, and medical weight management. Your first appointment is a video consultation, followed by labs at a nearby draw site and a plan your provider adjusts as results and symptoms change.
How Care Works From St. Petersburg
Five Alpha Hormones® providers hold Florida licenses and can see you from St. Petersburg: Dr. Rotana Steven Tek, D.O., Julianne Humason, FNP-BC, Marcus Lee, FNP-C, Monikeo Williamson, FNP-BC, and Kellie Klein, PA-C. You may choose one provider and stay with them, which keeps your history, lab trends and preferences in one set of hands. You can ask for the same provider each time you book.
Follow-up visits take place by video and are paced to your plan, often lining up with repeat labs drawn at a local site our team arranges. Between visits, our Pasadena clinic team handles scheduling, lab orders and benefit questions by phone. All of your care stays virtual, so there is no need to plan a trip to California to keep treatment on track.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.
The Alpha Hormones® Team
All of our providers are licensed in Florida.
Insurance and Payment
We work with many PPO insurance plans. Our team can review your eligibility and benefits before you choose self-pay or an Alpha Membership plan. Coverage varies by plan, location, provider, and service, and verification does not guarantee coverage or payment.

Questions Before You Book
Follow-ups are video visits scheduled at intervals your provider recommends. Early in treatment they may be closer together, especially while labs are being repeated and doses are evaluated. Once things are stable, the spacing usually widens. Each follow-up reviews symptoms, lab trends and any side effects, and your provider decides whether to continue, adjust or pause your plan based on what they find.
Telehealth licensure follows where you are physically located at the time of the visit, not where you usually live. Alpha Hormones® providers are licensed in California and Florida, and two of them in Texas. If you will be in another state during a scheduled visit, tell our team ahead of time so we can confirm whether that visit can go forward or should move to a date when you are back in Pinellas County.
Yes. Sexual wellness is one of our core services and is handled with the same clinical approach as the rest of our care. A video visit lets you talk through concerns privately with a Florida-licensed provider, who may order labs at a local draw site to look for hormonal or metabolic factors. Treatment options, if appropriate, depend on your evaluation and are discussed openly, including what to expect and how follow-up works.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
