Frequently Asked Questions About Our Services
How do I know which service is right for me?
Care starts with a medical evaluation. Your provider reviews your symptoms, health history, goals and labs, then recommends options that fit your needs. You don’t need to choose a treatment before your first visit.
Do I need lab work before treatment?
Most hormone and metabolic treatments start with lab testing. If you have recent results, bring them to your visit. Blood draws are available at our Pasadena office.
Can I combine more than one service?
Yes, when it’s clinically appropriate. Your provider coordinates everything in one individualized plan. For example, our Alpha Male and Alpha Female programs combine hormone therapy with one peptide.
Are all services available by telehealth?
Many evaluations and follow-ups are available by telehealth for patients located in California, Florida or Texas. Procedures such as pellet therapy, PRP, PHYSIQ body contouring, InBody scans and blood draws are done in person at our Pasadena office.
How much do services cost?
Costs depend on the service and how you pay. Visit fees, memberships and insurance options are listed on our pricing page.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept commercial PPO plans from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare, plus Original Medicare and eligible Medicare PPO plans. We don't accept HMO plans, Medi-Cal, TRICARE or Kaiser. Coverage depends on your plan, and some services and medications are self-pay. Submit our insurance verification form and our team will review your benefits.
What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit is a medical evaluation with a provider. You’ll review your symptoms, health history and goals, and your provider will order lab work or review your recent results. A follow-up visit then goes over your results and treatment options. Visits are available in person in Pasadena or by telehealth. Bring a list of your current medications and any recent lab results.
