Telehealth for Anaheim residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Anaheim, California
For adults in Anaheim and the surrounding north Orange County cities, Alpha Hormones® offers physician-led hormone and metabolic care that starts where you are. Most Anaheim patients open with a telehealth consultation, covering topics like men's testosterone evaluation, women's perimenopause and menopause care, thyroid questions or medical weight management. Our only physical clinic is in Pasadena, across the county line in Los Angeles County, so in-person visits are scheduled when they add real value rather than as a default.
How Care Works From Anaheim
Step one is a video consultation with a California-licensed provider who reviews your symptoms, records and goals. Step two is lab work, timed to the tests your provider orders. You can have blood drawn at our Pasadena in-house laboratory if you plan to visit, or ask the care team about options nearer to Anaheim. Step three is a results visit, where findings and any treatment options are explained in plain language.
From there, follow-up appointments typically run by telehealth on a schedule matched to your plan. If you would like to meet your Alpha Hormones® provider in person, or an exam is recommended, the Pasadena clinic is open weekdays from 9am to 6pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm, which gives Orange County patients some flexibility to plan the drive around work and traffic.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
Not for every visit. Many Anaheim patients handle consultations, lab reviews and follow-ups with Alpha Hormones® by telehealth. Your provider may recommend coming to the Pasadena clinic for a physical exam or for blood work in our in-house lab, and some patients simply prefer one in-person meeting early on. When a visit is useful, the team will help you choose a time, including Saturday morning appointments when available.
Our team is glad to help. Alpha Hormones® works with many PPO plans, and staff can review your benefits before the first appointment. Coverage varies by plan and by service, and a benefits check is not a guarantee that a claim will be paid. If you would rather not use insurance, self-pay and Alpha Membership options are available. Anaheim patients often find it helpful to sort this out before scheduling so there are fewer surprises later.
They can. HGH and peptide therapy and general peptide therapy are offered as separate services, and both can start with a video consultation. Your provider will review your history, goals and labs to decide whether a peptide approach is appropriate for you. Not everyone is a candidate, and some products used in peptide care are compounded, which means they are not FDA-approved. Your Alpha Hormones® provider will explain the details and alternatives.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
Yes. Alpha Hormones® follows HIPAA requirements for protecting health information, and video visits take place over a secure connection. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by regular email; our team can tell you the right way to share records.
