Alpha Hormones® is a physician-led hormone, metabolic and longevity medicine practice in Pasadena, California, with telehealth for patients in California, Florida and Texas.
What does Alpha Hormones® treat?
Alpha Hormones® provides individualized treatment for men's testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), women's bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT) for perimenopause and menopause, medical weight management, HGH and peptide therapy, thyroid care and longevity medicine.
Who provides care at Alpha Hormones®?
Care is physician-led by Rotana Steven Tek, D.O., Medical Director, with a team of physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Every treatment plan starts with a medical evaluation and lab review.
Where is Alpha Hormones® located?
Huntington Medical Plaza, 800 Fairmount Ave, Suite 323, Pasadena, CA 91105, near Huntington Hospital. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Can I see a provider by telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth visits are available for patients physically located in California, Florida or Texas at the time of the visit. Some services and prescriptions require an in-person visit in Pasadena.
Does Alpha Hormones® accept insurance?
Yes. We accept commercial PPO plans from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare, plus Medicare, for eligible visits and labs. We do not accept HMO plans, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, TRICARE or Kaiser. Coverage depends on your plan.
How much does hormone therapy cost?
Self-pay visits are $250 for a new patient and $125 for an established patient for the first 15 minutes. Monthly memberships are available with self-pay or in-network PPO insurance pricing. See current prices on our pricing page.
