Common Questions

Getting Started FAQs

How do I book my first appointment?

Book online using our scheduler, or call or text (213) 334-4111. You don’t need to choose a treatment before your first visit.

What happens at my first visit?

Your provider reviews your concerns, medical history, medications, lifestyle and health goals, then recommends next steps. For most hormone and metabolic concerns, that includes lab testing.

Where can I complete my lab work?

You can use our on-site collection at our Pasadena office when eligible, an outside laboratory such as Quest or Labcorp, or eligible at-home or mobile collection services.

When will I review my results and treatment options?

Many routine lab results are available within a few days, while some specialty tests take longer. Your provider reviews your results with you at a follow-up visit and discusses options, risks, costs and monitoring.

Can I start care by telehealth?

Yes. Consultations and follow-ups are available by telehealth for patients located in California, Florida or Texas at the time of the visit. In-person visits are available at our Pasadena office.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept commercial PPO plans from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare, plus Original Medicare and eligible Medicare PPO plans. Submit our insurance verification form and our team will review your benefits.

How much does the first visit cost?

Self-pay new-patient visits are $250 for the first 30 minutes. With eligible insurance, visits are billed to your plan and your copay or deductible applies. Memberships are also available; see our pricing page. Questions? Call or text (213) 334-4111.
