Telehealth for Palm Springs residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Palm Springs, California
From Palm Springs down the valley to Palm Desert and La Quinta, Alpha Hormones® cares for adults who want a careful look at hormones, metabolism and long-term health without leaving the desert. Care starts with a telehealth visit with one of our California-licensed providers, who reviews your history, symptoms and goals. Patients here come to us for women's BHRT during perimenopause and menopause, testosterone evaluation for men, medical weight management and thyroid care, each handled as its own clinical question.
How Care Works From Palm Springs
Your first appointment happens over secure video from home in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage or wherever you are in Riverside County. Your provider then orders lab work you can complete at a draw site near you, so there is no need to cross the mountains for bloodwork. Results come back to your Alpha Hormones® provider, who walks through them with you at a follow-up video visit.
Ongoing care follows a rhythm set by your treatment plan, with check-ins and repeat labs scheduled as your provider recommends. Our clinic and in-house laboratory are in Pasadena, and some patients choose to make the trip for an in-person visit when it suits them. That is always optional. For Coachella Valley patients, every routine step can stay virtual.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
No visit to Pasadena is required to begin or continue care. Alpha Hormones® is set up so Coachella Valley patients can complete consultations, lab review and follow-ups by telehealth. If you prefer to meet your provider face to face, or you are already planning a trip toward Los Angeles, you are welcome to book an in-person appointment at our Fairmount Avenue clinic during regular hours.
Your provider sends a lab order to a draw site in the valley, so you can have blood drawn close to home in Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio or a nearby community. Our in-house laboratory is used only for patients seen at the Pasadena clinic. Once your results are available, your provider reviews them with you during a scheduled telehealth visit and explains what they mean for your plan.
Possibly, depending on where you are. Telehealth visits must take place while you are physically in a state where your provider is licensed. Alpha Hormones® providers are licensed in California and Florida, and Dr. Tek and Monikeo Williamson are also licensed in Texas. If you split the year between the desert and another state, let our team know so we can plan visits and labs around your location.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
