Telehealth for Lancaster residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Lancaster, California
Lancaster sits on the far side of the San Gabriel Mountains from our Pasadena clinic, so Alpha Hormones® sets up care for the Antelope Valley to begin by telehealth. Adults in Lancaster, Palmdale and Quartz Hill can meet a California-licensed provider by video to talk through fatigue, low libido, perimenopause changes, weight concerns or thyroid symptoms. Your provider reviews your history, orders appropriate labs and explains the options. When an exam or in-person conversation would help, a visit to Pasadena can be planned with intention instead of made routine.
How Care Works From Lancaster
Most Lancaster patients begin with a video consultation from home or work. That first visit covers symptoms, medical history, current medications and goals, and it ends with a clear list of the lab work your provider wants to see. Lab timing matters for some hormone tests, so your care team will explain when to have blood drawn and how results reach your chart before the next conversation.
Because Pasadena is a genuine drive from the Antelope Valley, in-person visits are usually saved for specific reasons, such as an exam your provider recommends or a time when you prefer to meet face to face. On those days, our in-house laboratory can complete any due blood work. Routine follow-ups, lab reviews and plan adjustments generally stay on telehealth with your Alpha Hormones® provider.

Questions Before You Book
Our in-house laboratory is only at the Pasadena clinic, so Antelope Valley patients have two general paths. If you are already coming to Pasadena for a visit, the draw can be done there. Otherwise, your care team will discuss lab options closer to home, which may include an outside draw site depending on the tests ordered and your insurance. Your Alpha Hormones® provider will tell you which panels are needed and when to complete them.
Many conversations translate well to video: reviewing symptoms of low testosterone or perimenopause, discussing thyroid results, medical weight management check-ins, and longevity medicine planning at Alpha Hormones®. Some situations call for a physical exam, and your provider will say so plainly if that applies to you. In those cases a Pasadena visit is planned around your schedule. Whether any medication is prescribed always depends on clinical evaluation, lab results and California rules.
The rhythm depends on the service and how you respond. Early in a hormone or peptide plan, follow-ups tend to be closer together so your provider can review labs and symptoms; once things are stable, visits usually spread out. For Lancaster patients, nearly all of these check-ins can happen by telehealth, which keeps time on the road to a minimum. Your Alpha Hormones® provider will set the schedule with you.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
