Telehealth for Huntington Beach residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Huntington Beach, California
In Huntington Beach and along the northwest Orange County coast, people often contact Alpha Hormones® after months of feeling off without clear answers. Our approach starts with evaluation, not a prescription. A California-licensed provider meets you by video, listens to what has changed, and orders lab work that fits your situation, whether you are a man asking about testosterone or a woman going through perimenopause or menopause. Treatment options, if appropriate, come only after the results are in and reviewed with you.
How Care Works From Huntington Beach
The initial telehealth consultation usually covers symptoms, sleep, energy, sexual wellness concerns, prior labs and current medications. Your provider then explains which tests are needed. Blood work can be completed at the Pasadena clinic's in-house laboratory when you visit, or the care team can talk through other arrangements that suit a coastal Orange County address. Results visits are typically held by video.
Pasadena is our only physical office, and the drive from Huntington Beach takes planning, so most patients reserve in-person time for an exam or a combined lab and consultation visit. Ongoing care, including symptom tracking and plan adjustments, generally continues by telehealth with your Alpha Hormones® provider at intervals you agree on together.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
It starts with a video consultation about your symptoms and health history, followed by lab work timed according to your provider's instructions. Low energy or low libido can have many causes, so the evaluation looks at the full picture rather than a single number. If testosterone therapy is a reasonable option, your Alpha Hormones® provider will discuss benefits, risks and monitoring. Prescribing is never automatic and depends on your results and clinical judgment.
In most cases. Women's BHRT at Alpha Hormones® typically begins with a telehealth visit focused on cycle changes, sleep, hot flashes, mood and other symptoms. Your provider reviews your history and decides which labs, if any, will help guide decisions. Some women also benefit from an in-person visit, which can be arranged at our Pasadena clinic. Treatment choices are individualized and discussed openly, including what to expect and how progress will be monitored.
Alpha Hormones® clinic hours include Saturday from 9am to 1pm, in addition to weekdays from 9am to 6pm. That Saturday window can be a practical time for Huntington Beach patients to make the drive to Pasadena for an in-person visit or blood draw, or to fit a telehealth appointment around a weekday job. Availability varies, so it helps to book ahead when you have a specific day in mind.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Any prescription depends on your provider’s evaluation, your lab results and the rules of the state you are in. If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the plan, and our team helps coordinate pharmacy details and follow-up. Some therapies use compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved, and your provider will explain what that means for you.
