Telehealth for Calabasas residents · Main clinic and headquarters in Pasadena, California
Alpha Hormones® · Calabasas, California
Calabasas lies at the western end of the San Fernando Valley, bordered by the Santa Monica Mountains, and residents here often juggle family, work and commuting along the 101. Alpha Hormones® offers a way to address hormone and metabolic concerns without adding constant appointments. Care can begin with an evaluation at our Pasadena clinic or by telehealth, then shifts largely to video visits. We treat Calabasas patients for women's BHRT, testosterone evaluation, medical weight management, thyroid care and sexual wellness.
How Care Works From Calabasas
If you choose to start in person at our Pasadena office, expect a detailed review of your health history, a discussion of goals, any exam your provider feels is warranted and blood work in our in-house laboratory. Results come back to the same team, and your provider follows up to explain them and outline an individualized plan.
From there, video visits handle most check-ins. That arrangement suits households where time is tight, since a follow-up can fit between school pickup and dinner. Your provider schedules lab draws at the clinic at intervals that match your therapy. If you have a question between visits, our team can help you decide whether it needs an appointment.

The Alpha Hormones® Difference
Your symptoms, health history, test results, and goals guide the conversation. Together, we discuss care options so you understand the next steps.
When testing is needed, your provider explains the results. These findings help guide treatment decisions and a plan to monitor your progress.
As care continues, follow-up visits and testing help your provider check your response. You can also ask questions and discuss changes to your plan.

Questions Before You Book
Yes. Some Calabasas patients prefer to start in person so the exam and blood draw happen in one trip, while others begin by video and visit Pasadena only when lab work or an exam is due. Your provider will recommend what fits your situation, and our team can help you plan any clinic visits around your schedule.
No. A testosterone evaluation is exactly that: an assessment of symptoms, history and lab results to understand what is going on. Some men are found to be good candidates for treatment, while others have different explanations for how they feel. Any prescription depends on your provider's clinical evaluation and applicable rules. You will get a clear explanation either way.
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, and telehealth appointments fall within those hours. Saturday availability is limited, so booking ahead helps if you prefer a weekend slot. For Calabasas patients, a Saturday morning can also be a practical time to make an in-person trip to Pasadena for labs.
Your provider will explain when telehealth is not enough and what the next step should be. Our physical clinic is in Pasadena; if you are farther away, you may need care from a clinician near you. Telehealth is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any lab results from the past year, and a short summary of your symptoms and when they started. If you plan to use insurance, have your card ready. This helps your provider make good use of the visit and recommend the right testing.
We work with many PPO plans, and our team can check your benefits before your first visit. Benefits vary by plan, and a verification does not guarantee coverage. Self-pay and Alpha Membership options are also available. Call (213) 334-4111 to review your options.
Yes. Alpha Hormones® follows HIPAA requirements for protecting health information, and video visits take place over a secure connection. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by regular email; our team can tell you the right way to share records.
