Care Beyond the Scale

Weight Is Influenced by More Than Willpower

Appetite, sleep, medications, medical conditions, stress, activity, nutrition, insulin resistance, aging, and hormonal changes can all affect body weight and composition. Medical weight management begins by identifying the factors most relevant to you.

Foundation 01

Nutrition That Fits Your Life

Practical guidance based on your health, preferences, culture, schedule, and ability to maintain the plan.

Foundation 02

Movement and Strength

Activity recommendations may include walking, resistance training, cardiovascular exercise, mobility, and recovery.

Foundation 03

Sleep and Behavioral Health

Sleep, stress, mood, eating patterns, and sustainable routines are considered within the broader clinical picture.

Foundation 04

Medical Support When Appropriate

Testing, treatment of relevant conditions, and prescription medication may be considered when clinically appropriate.

Your Starting Point

A Clinical Evaluation Designed Around You

Two people with the same weight may have very different health histories, risk factors, barriers, and goals. Your evaluation helps determine which options warrant consideration.

01

Medical and Weight History

Review previous strategies, weight trends, medical conditions, medications, family history, sleep, appetite, activity, and relevant symptoms.

02

Measurements and Testing

Assessment may include weight, waist measurements, blood pressure, body composition, and laboratory testing selected for your health profile.

03

Goals and Preferences

Discuss realistic goals, treatment options, potential benefits and risks, monitoring, affordability, and your preferred level of support.

Individualized Care

Your Plan May Combine Several Strategies

Effective weight management is rarely one-dimensional. Recommendations are selected and adjusted according to your medical needs, goals, response, and preferences.

Lifestyle and Monitoring

Build a Sustainable Foundation

  • Nutrition guidance based on appropriate calorie, protein, fiber, and meal-pattern goals.
  • Activity planning supporting fitness, strength, mobility, and muscle preservation.
  • Progress tracking using clinically relevant measures beyond scale weight alone.
  • Behavioral strategies supporting consistency, planning, and long-term maintenance.
Medical Evaluation

Address Relevant Health Factors

  • Metabolic health: blood sugar, lipids, blood pressure, and cardiometabolic risk.
  • Medication review: identify treatments that may influence appetite or body weight.
  • Hormone evaluation: considered when symptoms suggest an endocrine condition—not automatically.
  • Clinical follow-up: monitor response, tolerability, laboratory findings, and changing needs.
Prescription Options

Medication May Be One Part of the Plan

FDA-approved medications for chronic weight management may be considered for eligible patients alongside nutrition, physical activity, behavioral strategies, and ongoing care.

Medication Options and Affordability

Medication selection may consider body-mass index, weight-related conditions, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal history, pregnancy potential, eating disorder history, current medications, family history, and previous treatment response.

Eligible patients may discuss FDA-approved options such as Wegovy® or Zepbound®. Ozempic® and Mounjaro® are FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes. Coverage, authorization, availability, and out-of-pocket costs vary by patient and plan.

Compounded Medication

When permitted by law, clinically appropriate, and an identified patient’s needs cannot be met by an available FDA-approved drug, a provider may discuss compounded tirzepatide with niacinamide from a properly licensed pharmacy. Compounded products are not generic equivalents of Mounjaro® or Zepbound® and are not FDA-approved.

No monthly membership is required. Cost depends on the prescribed medication, dose, quantity, pharmacy, shipping, supplies, and how long the dispensed medication remains usable under its labeled storage instructions and beyond-use date.

Compounded drugs are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. Dose, concentration, storage, beyond-use date, contraindications, risks, and alternatives must be reviewed during clinical care. Pricing and availability may change. Outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
Straightforward, Pay-As-You-Go Care

A Separate, Clearly Explained Cost Option

For an individually identified patient whose medical needs cannot be met by an available FDA-approved medication, a compounded option may be discussed when legally permitted and clinically appropriate. Cost alone does not determine eligibility. No membership is required.
